All that in mind, though, the most surprising thing about Joker being in the game is that they still haven’t put P5 on the Switch. The character plays well enough, though the meter gimmick was kind of a daunting sign of things to come. With how huge Persona 5 became in both Japan and the west, capitalizing on it to make a shitload of money makes perfect sense. As it is, though, it’s a perfectly fine character- surprisingly cute, actually. And frankly, I don’t think people would have been happy if it wasn’t. If you owned the game in its first month. Visuals and story are also important factors. Simple micro system, fun combat and good character interactions (with some great skits). I hope they leave the gimmicks and focus on what makes the games fun and interesting.
